Monarch Energy recently completed the construction of a solar power plant on several roofs of industrial buildings with a total installed capacity of 880 kW in Garching, town to the north of Munich.
The size and complexity of the project are best described by numbers:
in 25 working days more than 60 km of cables were laid, 1912 panels (TRINA brand), 4 x 125 kW and 3 x 50 kW converters (SUNGROW brand) were installed, individual strings were over 500 m long, and the cables were connected to the inverters from the detached roof through a 7-meter long 'cable bridge' at a height of 8 meters.
What makes this project particularly interesting and confirms the extent of the solar boom in Germany is the fact that the investor is not the owner of the industrial buildings on whose roofs the power plant is installed, but has rented it from the owner. The investor's commercial reasons based on profitability and a safe return on investment and the fast and professional execution of the project by Monarch Energy's experienced team in the case of the Garching power plant are an example of how we build a brighter and more sustainable future together with our clients.
